This Privacy Policy explains how Elwar Braja collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you access elwarbraja.com, including its pages, tools, calculators, datasheet search, download pages, and other features within the domain.
This website is personally operated by Elwar Braja from Indonesia and is available to visitors worldwide. Data processing is governed primarily by applicable Indonesian law, including Law Number 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection. Mandatory rights that apply to visitors in their own jurisdictions remain respected.
Table of Contents
1. Scope
This Policy applies while you are on elwarbraja.com. When you open a third-party website, marketplace, datasheet provider, social media platform, or other external service through an outbound link, that service processes information under its own policies.
2. Information that may be processed
Information you provide
The following information is processed only when you choose to provide it:
- first and last name;
- email address;
- subject and message submitted through the contact form;
- name, email address, comment text, and other information entered in a comment form;
- email address if you choose to subscribe to updates; and
- other information you voluntarily submit through a website feature.
Do not enter passwords, financial information, identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal data into calculators, component search fields, comments, or forms that do not specifically request it.
Technical information for security and core functions
When the website is accessed, the server, hosting service, WordPress, and security infrastructure may process an IP address, request time, page address, referrer, browser type, user-agent, and similar technical information. This processing is necessary to deliver pages, prevent abuse, limit automated requests, secure downloads, and maintain service reliability.
Elwar Braja’s custom systems use an IP address as a short-lived rate-limit identifier. An approximate country code may also be read for security and to provide regional marketplace options. In the current compatibility mode, a rate-limit marker may be stored for approximately 120 seconds. A marker for failed administrator access attempts may be stored for approximately 15 minutes. Infrastructure providers may maintain separate security logs under their own configurations and policies.
Consent choices
A first-party consent cookie stores the categories you accept or reject, the time of your choice, and the applicable policy revision. It does not contain your name, email address, account identifier, or IP address.
Optional analytics
If you accept the Analytics category, the website may use Google Analytics 4 and Elwar Braja’s aggregated analytics counters to understand website use.
Measured events may include pages viewed, calculator use, calculator mode, component-code searches, clicks to datasheet providers, clicks to marketplaces, feature source, approximate country, and event time. A component code you search for may become part of the statistics, so do not enter personal information into a component search field.
Elwar Braja’s custom analytics stores aggregated counters by monthly period, component code, action type, click destination, source, and country code. The analytics database does not store full IP addresses, names, email addresses, user-agents, languages, or referrer URLs. A browser request may carry language and referrer fields, but the current Worker implementation does not add those fields to the analytics counters.
Google Analytics may use cookies and online identifiers to distinguish users and sessions. Google’s processing is subject to Google’s policies and the configured retention settings.
Advertising and measurement
If you accept Advertising & Measurement and an advertising service has been enabled, Google or another ad network may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver, limit, measure, or personalize ads according to your consent choices and applicable law.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to elwarbraja.com or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies allows Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. Visitors can learn about or manage ad personalization through Google My Ad Center.
A direct sponsor banner that consists only of a static image and link may appear without additional tracking. If a sponsor uses measurement, pixels, or other tracking technologies, those technologies will be treated as optional and disclosed where appropriate.
External content
Articles may contain content from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or another service. After external content is allowed and loaded, its provider may receive your IP address, user-agent, referrer, login status on that service, and may place cookies or similar technologies under its own policies.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Information is processed to:
- provide the website, tools, datasheet search, routing, and downloads;
- maintain security and prevent spam, fraud, attacks, and excessive automated use;
- store and respect your privacy choices;
- respond to messages, comments, or requests you submit;
- understand website use and improve the visitor experience;
- measure the performance of content, features, links, and ads; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect legitimate rights.
The applicable legal basis may be the need to provide a function you requested, your consent, a legitimate interest in securely operating the website, or a legal obligation. Where consent is legally required, optional technologies are not enabled through consent controls until you make the relevant choice.
4. Cookies and local storage
The website uses cookies or local storage for necessary functions and, according to your choices, preferences, analytics, advertising, and external content. Categories, examples, purposes, and general storage periods are explained in the Cookie Policy.
You can change your choices through the Privacy Settings button on the website. Refusing optional technologies does not prevent access to core content, although some external features may not be displayed.
5. Parties that may process information
Information may be processed by providers that support the website, including:
- hosting and WordPress infrastructure providers;
- Cloudflare for networking, security, rate limiting, Workers, storage, and file delivery;
- Google, including Site Kit, Analytics, AdSense, and advertising consent services when enabled;
- spam-protection or form providers when enabled;
- external-content providers that you choose to allow; and
- authorities or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Elwar Braja does not sell visitors’ personal data. An affiliate commission or sponsorship payment is not a sale of personal data.
6. International transfers
Because the website uses global providers and is accessible worldwide, information may be processed on servers outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on mechanisms and safeguards provided by the relevant service provider and applicable law.
7. Retention
- The consent-choice cookie is stored for the configured period, currently 180 days, or until you delete it.
- Custom rate-limit markers generally expire after approximately 120 seconds; failed administrator access markers may expire after approximately 15 minutes.
- Contact messages are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle communications, records, security, or legal obligations.
- Comments may be retained while they remain published or are needed for moderation and discussion history.
- Google Analytics data is retained according to the property settings and Google’s policies.
- Aggregated Elwar Braja statistics that are not designed to identify an individual may be retained indefinitely for trend analysis, feature development, and business negotiations.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, including HTTPS, rate limiting, access controls, input validation, and network-security services. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- receive information about personal-data processing;
- request access, a copy, correction, updating, or deletion;
- withdraw consent for optional processing;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request data portability where applicable; and
- lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Because some statistics are stored as aggregated counters without individual identifiers, they may not be capable of being linked back to you for individual access or deletion.
10. Children
This website is not directed to children and does not knowingly request children’s personal data. Users under 18 may use the website only with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian. Electronics activities may involve electricity, heat, sharp tools, batteries, or other hazards and must also be supervised by a competent adult. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate permission, please contact Elwar Braja so it can be reviewed and deleted where required.
11. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated to reflect changes to features, technology, service providers, processing practices, or law. A new version takes effect from the date it is published on this page. If a material change requires additional notice or renewed consent, those steps will be taken as required by applicable law.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests to exercise your rights, contact Elwar Braja through the Contact page. Reasonable verification may be required to prevent information from being disclosed or deleted at the request of an unauthorized person.
