1. Information and education

2. Electronics risks
Electronics work may involve mains electricity, high voltage, high current, heat, soldering, chemicals, sharp tools, batteries, charged capacitors, and components that may fail. An error can cause electric shock, burns, fire, explosion, equipment damage, serious injury, or death.
Disconnect power before working, discharge capacitors correctly, use suitable protective equipment and current limiting, and do not perform work beyond your competence. Hazardous projects must be performed or supervised by a competent person.
3. Accuracy and testing
Elwar Braja makes reasonable efforts to provide useful information but does not guarantee that every item is accurate, complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Substitute parts, product revisions, manufacturing variations, old-source errors, and operating conditions may produce different results.
Some archive and redraw projects are created to preserve older circuits and may not have been physically tested. A statement that a project was tested applies only when expressly included on the relevant project page.
4. Calculators and tools
Calculator and tool results are aids or estimates. Rounding, formula assumptions, component tolerance, temperature, parasitic effects, component quality, and real-world conditions can affect results. Always verify with independent calculations, official datasheets, appropriate simulation, and measurement before making a technical decision.
5. Schematics, PCBs, Gerbers, and BOMs
A package contains a schematic, PCB layout, Gerber file, or bill of materials only when that item is expressly listed as included. No additional file, support, testing, certification, documentation, or result is promised unless stated.
Before ordering a PCB or assembling a project, verify connections, footprints, pinouts, polarity, isolation clearances, trace widths, component ratings, the bill of materials, and manufacturing rules. Use, modification, fabrication, assembly, production, regulatory compliance, and final testing are the user’s responsibility.
6. Datasheets and external sources
The datasheet search feature directs users to third-party sources. It does not mean that Elwar Braja publishes, owns, or guarantees those documents. Verify the component number, manufacturer, revision, package, and datasheet authenticity through an official source before use.
7. Marketplaces and transactions
Price, availability, images, specifications, seller identity, shipping, taxes, customs duties, warranties, and product quality on a marketplace are controlled by third parties. A purchase link is not a guarantee that an item is suitable, genuine, available, or safe. Each transaction is between the user and the relevant marketplace or seller.
8. Affiliate links, advertising, and sponsorships
Some links may provide Elwar Braja with an affiliate commission at no additional cost to the user. Not every link is an affiliate link. Sponsored content or a direct sponsor banner does not automatically mean that Elwar Braja guarantees every product, service, or advertising claim.

9. Portfolio, brands, and third-party logos
Company names, trademarks, logos, product names, and third-party materials belong to their respective rights holders. Display on a portfolio is used to describe work or collaboration history and does not necessarily mean that the collaboration remains active or that an ownership or endorsement relationship exists.
Software logos or notices visible in an image, schematic, or screenshot remain the property of their respective providers. Their appearance does not state an affiliation unless expressly disclosed.
10. Redraw projects and third-party rights
Redraw projects are intended to document and preserve circuits, including older material that may come from kits, manuals, magazines, or archives. Elwar Braja does not claim exclusive ownership of electronic principles, circuit functions, common formulas, standard components, or another party’s original work.
Elwar Braja’s contributions may include redrawing, layout changes, graphics, documentation, corrections, modifications, and file compilation. A legitimate rights holder who identifies material requiring correction, attribution, or review may contact Elwar Braja with supporting information.
11. No availability or backup guarantee
The website, tools, files, links, and download access may change, become temporarily unavailable, move, or be discontinued. No file is guaranteed to remain accessible permanently. Users are responsible for keeping a backup after download.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Elwar Braja is not liable for direct or indirect loss resulting from use of or reliance on content, including device damage, data loss, project or production failure, lost revenue, complaints from a user’s customers, injury, or third-party claims.
The user is responsible for decisions, modifications, assembly, testing, production, sale, and use of the resulting work. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
