I believe curiosity is where every great discovery begins.
Ever since I was a kid, I've always been fascinated by how things work. I was the type of child who loved taking things apart—sometimes I managed to put them back together, and sometimes... I only ended up with a few extra screws. 😆
I graduated from SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga with a specialization in Audio Video Electronics. However, most of the engineering skills I have today were built through years of self-learning, hands-on experimentation, and real-world projects.
Over the years, I've explored many areas of technology, including electronics, computers, networking, web development, multimedia, and digital technologies. I believe learning never truly ends, and every experience teaches something valuable.
Today, I share that journey through videos, technical articles, project documentation, and this website, hoping to make technology easier to understand for anyone who wants to learn.
If there is one moment that completely changed my life, this was it.
When I was still in elementary school, I wanted to join an electronics club that was only open to middle school students.
The teacher gave me a challenge.
"If you can build a working electronic siren, you're welcome to join."
I tried.
And failed.
Several components burned.
Nothing worked.
But eventually...
The siren finally came to life.
Instead of hearing "Well done," I heard something I still remember today.
"Come on... your parents must have built it for you."
I was just a kid.
I stood there in silence, trying not to cry.
I went home that day and made a promise to myself.
I would learn electronics on my own until I truly mastered it.
Looking back now, that single decision shaped the path I'm still following today.
After the siren incident, I became even more determined to learn electronics by myself.
Of course, the journey wasn't always smooth.
One of my earliest lessons came while trying to repair a compact fluorescent lamp (back before LED bulbs became common).
After opening it, I noticed several burnt PCB traces.
With very little knowledge at the time, I thought,
"If the traces are broken... I just need to reconnect them."
So I carefully soldered every burnt trace back together.
I looked at my work and thought,
"Perfect!"
A few seconds after plugging it into 220V...
BOOM!
The entire circuit exploded right in front of me. 🤣
That was the day I learned an important lesson.
Burnt traces are often the result of a fault, not the cause of it.
Not long after that, curiosity led me to take apart a CRT television for the very first time.
At the time, I had no idea that a flyback transformer could still store thousands of volts even after the TV had been unplugged.
Confidently (and rather foolishly), I tried removing the flyback cable with a regular screwdriver.
No discharge procedure.
No grounding.
Just pure curiosity.
A split second later...
I experienced firsthand what several thousand volts actually feels like. 😅
Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured.
But that experience taught me another lesson I'll never forget.
Electronics isn't only about making things work, it's also about learning how to work safely.
Looking back, those moments make me laugh.
But every exploded circuit, every burnt component, and every mistake became one more lesson that shaped the engineer I am today.
Curiosity eventually led me far beyond electronics.
I started exploring computers, the internet, Android customization, networking, multimedia, and eventually opened my own small repair service for electronics, computers, and mobile devices.
In 2016, I discovered trading and investing.
At one point, I even attempted to develop my own Expert Advisor (EA) for automated trading.
Unfortunately, the project had to be abandoned because the trading logic became far more complex than the development team could realistically implement.
Although the project never reached completion, it taught me valuable lessons about systematic thinking and solving complex problems.
I also spent time working in industrial environments, learning about high-voltage electrical systems, diesel generator maintenance, machinery, and manufacturing processes.
Every chapter added another piece to my journey.
In 2019, I launched my YouTube channel with one simple goal:
To make technology easier to understand.
Since then, that journey has expanded to Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
For me, content creation has never been just about views or subscribers.
The most rewarding moment is hearing someone say,
"Thank you... now I finally understand."
That's what continues to motivate me every day.
I built this website as a place to collect everything I've learned over the years.
Here you'll find electronics projects, technical articles, practical tools, project documentation, and lessons learned from real-world experience.
My hope is simple.
If someone visits this website, I want them to leave with something valuable, whether that's a solution, a new idea, or simply a better understanding than they had before.
I'm still learning.
Still experimenting.
Still making mistakes.
And honestly...
I think that's the best part of being an engineer.
Technology never stops evolving.
Neither should we.
